Pregnancy after loss
A stage of life after pregnancy loss that deserves support that includes the aspects of grief that may be experienced, the anxiety and fear, as well as celebrating the happy milestones.
our pregnancy and birth services
At The Miscarriage Doula, we know that life after miscarriage includes many different stages one of which is trying to conceive again and then for some, pregnancy after loss. When Arden was pregnant after loss, she was desperate for support that first PAL and couldn’t find it. So we created services to support those in their pregnancy journeys. We offer:
One-on-One Support: Dedicated time to explore your unique emotions and milestones throughout pregnancy with a trained birth and bereavement doula.
Support Groups: A nurturing space to connect with others who understand and to receive both professional and peer support. Groups are open to all gestations and run for 8 weeks.
Resources and Tools: Practical guidance and information to help you navigate pregnancy after loss.

1-ON-1 SUPPORT THROUGH PREGNANCY
Just like those who choose to meet privately with us during their post-miscarriage stage, those who are pregnant after loss often struggle a lot with the waiting, the anxiety, the unknown and we like to say that we continue to bridge that gap in what’s missing through traditional care and therapy.
Our clients love the option for a one-on-one because we can discuss the anxiety of the first trimester, waiting between ultrasounds, preparing for milestones, advocating for themselves, and then discussing childbirth after loss.
Arden is a certified birth doula (as well as bereavement) and is passionate about preparing people for birth after loss
Pregnancy support groups
Our pregnancy after loss groups are unique because they hold space for the difficult days where grief and anxiety take over and then we also celebrate the days that feel like wins.
Through our group, we’ll cover topics around grieving while pregnant again, milestones that happen in the first, second, and third trimester, as well as giving time to current stressors, emotions, and celebratory moments.
It’s like having a group of girlfriends who just get it
